National Federation for the Blind (NFB)

  • It is an oldest organization that was formed by blind people in Baltimore, Maryland
  • The main motto behind this group is security, equality and safety
  • NFB offers scholarship funds to 30 blind students every year

National Federation for the deaf (NFD)

  • NFD is a private organization that works long with the United Nations and World Health Organization to provide scholarships for the deaf people
  • Only the graduates who have completed their traditional four year course duration are applicable to this program
  • They are actively engaged in procuring information about education aid, money for tuition costs, financial aid and employment opportunities available for deaf and adults with hearing impairments by dealing with colleges, universities, legal obligations and other corporate industries
